Experience a unique yoga practice with the Ekotex Organic Cotton Yoga Rug. Crafted from organic cotton, it offers an exceptionally spacious practice area, measuring a generous 75 cm x 200 cm.

Expand your practice

Traditional yoga asanas were developed on cotton rugs. Modern yoga mats with anti-slip surfaces alter how we practice and distribute your weight. Depending on your current yoga mat and practice style, you will need to support your weight more in some postures when practising on a rug. It can take a little getting used to, but it will elevate your practice and encourage you to engage your core. The rug will wick away sweat as you become sweaty, but the grip will not increase as you sweat. You will need to support yourself from your core. For regular practitioners, the transition should be easy and very rewarding. :)

Practicing outside on grass or sand

The surface of the earth is very rarely naturally flat (in Scotland, at least.) A yoga mat will exaggerate these bumps, and there will be 'pockets' where it does not lie flat, making it uneven to practice on. If practising on the sand, the sand accumulates on the yoga mat, making it feel gritty and slippery.

Our rugs are designed to adapt to the ground's contours, providing a flexible yet sturdy foundation. Whether you're practising on grass or sand, the rug's weave seamlessly incorporates the surface, ensuring a comfortable and slip-free session. Shake off the sand at the end of the session, and pop your rug in the washing machine when you get home.

Small parcels (under 2 Kg) can be shipped with Royal Mail for £3.50 on a second class service.
FedEx or DPD tracked shipping is available for all orders up to 25 Kg for £4.95.
Processing time for orders is usually 1-3 working days. Delivery via DPD is 1-2 working days. We aim for orders using a tracked service to be received within 2-4 working days.
International Shipping
We ship worldwide! With Royal Mail, DPD and DHL. EU orders under €135 will be charged VAT at the local rate, with no additional customs charges or processing. All other international orders and EU orders over €135 will be VAT-free. VAT and duty and a customs processing fee will be payable when your order reaches customs. Shipping cost is calculated at the checkout.

I really like the rug and the fact that it's machine washeable.

I love this mat! It takes a couple of practices to get used to it but it definitely helps you to engage your core more and rely less on the mat - it's grippy enough that I don't feel like I'm slipping but I'm also not over relying on the mat and over stretching anymore!
